Pipe fitting

Pipe fitting is work that involves the installation or repair of pipes or tubes. Pipes and tubes are necessary for a wide range of reasons.

We are passionate about elbows, tees, reducer …

Pipe elbows
Pipe elbows >>
Steel elbow is used to be installed between two lengths of pipe or tube allowing a change of direction, usually these carbon steel elbows distinguished by connection ends.

Long radius + Short radius

Bending
Pipe bending >>
Pipe bend can be made of variety materials, like carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, low temperature steel or high performance steel, etc.

+ 180 degree bending   ASTM API 5L Gr.B bends

Pipe tees
Pipe Tees >>
We can provide seamless tube tees and welding tube tees, which can also be divided into straight tees and reducing tees.Usually, the pipe tees have the same inlet and oulet sizes.

Reducing tee   Barred Tee   Stainless Steel Tee

Pipe cross
Cross >>
A pipe fitting, having four openings in the same place, at right angles to each other.

End caps
End caps >>
End Cap, Carbon Steel cap, Stainless Steel Caps, ANSI, ISO, JIS and DIN Standards, Measures 1/2 to 56 Inches.

Large size end caps  + Carbon steel end caps

Pipe reducer
Pipe reducer >>
Pipe reducer are tube fittings that are widely used in a number of industries in order to providing greatest connection flexibility in connecting fractional tubes in various installations.

Concentric reducer  Eccentric reducer

Stub end
Stub end >>
Stub Ends are fittings used in place of welded flanges where rotating back up flanges are desired. They are also called Lap Joints and Vanstone Flared Laps. A rotating back up flange seats itself against the back surface of the Stub End.

Stainless stub end   Carbon steel Stub end

Coupling Fittings
Coupling Fittings >>
Coupling fittings are used for fluid conduits in which each end portion of two tubes to be connected is provided with a swaged-on adapter carrying the necessary means to connect or disconnect the tubes without disturbing the swaged-on adapter.

We have a team of experienced professionals with years of experience in manufacturing.

What exactly do you mean by pipe fittings?
Different from the tranditional process technique, we don't acid pickling at the last 2 steps, but directly bright annealing at the optimum temperature. Advantage: Guarantee the accurate thickness, smooth and balanced bright of both inside & outside surface
Pipe Fittings End Beveling
Pipe elbowsIn the behavior, we make beveling after shot blasting, bevel ends are fully machined by advanced equipment Double Beveling Machine ensure the height, length, thickness, O.D. and I.D. are all qualified.

Delivery requirment:
Marking: SunnySteel, material grade, standard, specification, heat no.
Surface Treatment: Bright annealed, polished outside and inside surface.
Package: Each pipe in a PVC bag and caps on both ends then bundled in wood case, (option: Bundle with knitted plastic bag/stee crate. )
Mill test certificate: according to EN 10204 3.2
Inspection:
Third party inspection, or by clints

Fittings prologue >>
Pipe fittings are made from pipes, plates and forging material, which are used to change of direction & connected pipe size and diverge from main piping service.

The material of the stainless steel round bar is from Jiuli and Baosteel China, we control the quality from the very start. We polished three times to make sure the surface is perfect bright and smooth, and without any deficiency in quality. We have precision equipment to test according to the standard required and PMItest to check the material before delivery.

JIS, Japanese Industrial Standards for steel

Japanese Industrial Standards specifies the standards used for industrial activities in Japan. The standardization process is coordinated by Japanese Industrial Standards Committee and published through Japanese Standards Association.
JIS G3429 Seamless steel tubes for high pressure gas cylinder.
Seamless steel tubes for high pressure gas cylinder.
In the Meiji era, private enterprises were responsible for making standards. However, the Japanese government did have standards and specification documents for procurement purposes for certain articles, such as munitions. These were summarized to form an official standard old JES in 1921. During World War II, simplified standards were established to increase matériel output. The Industrial Standardization Law was enacted in 1949, which forms the legal foundations for the present Japanese Industrial Standards.
The Industrial Standardization Law was revised in 2004 and the  mark product certification system was changed. Standards are named like “ X 0208:1997″, where X denotes area division, followed by four digits (or five digits for some of the standards corresponding ISO standards) and the revision release year.

EN 10204:2004 is for metallic products-and this norm tell us things about Types of inspection documents. There are no material standards.
Mostly material is defined with its chemical composition and mechanical properties in a public standars like ISO, EN, JIS, ASTM etc.

JIS G3461

Standard specifies the carbon steel tubes, hereinafter refered to as the tubes, used for exchanger heat on the inside and outside of the tube, such as water tubes, smoke tubes, superheater tubes, air preheater tubes, etc.

JIS G3445

JIS G3445 standard specifies the carbon steel tubes, hereinafter referred to as the thes, used for machinery, automobiles, bicycles, furniture, appliances and other machine parts.

JIS G3429, JIS G3429 standard specifies the seamless steel tubes

JIS G3429 standard specifies the seamless steel tubes, hereinafter referred to as the tube used for the manufacture of seamless steel gas cylinders specified in JIS B8230 and JIS B8241.

JIS G3454 STPG370, STPG410

JIS G3454 standard specifies the carbon steel pipes, hereinafter referred to as the pipes, used form pressure serive at an approximate maximum temperature of 350 cerus degree.

American National Pipe – NPT/NPS

American National pipe (, NPS), Like British Standard Pipe (), is designated by trade size, rather than actual diameter, as shown in the table below.
NATIONAL PIPE TAPERED THREAD (NPT)
NPT Thread – American Standard Taper Pipe Thread (ANSI/ASME B1.20.1), Taper 1:16
Thread Form Data – Basic Dimensions of American National Standard Taper Threads, NPT (National Pipe Tapered)

There are two basic types of National pipe threads:

  • NPT: National Pipe Taper
  • NPS: National Pipe Straight

NPT threads are also sometimes referred to as

  • MIP (Male Iron Pipe)
  • FIP (Female Iron Pipe)
  • IPT (Iron Pipe Thread)
  • FPT (Female Pipe Thread)
  • MPT (Male Pipe Thread)
Note that these references are somewhat casual, and might possibly be used in reference to NPS instead of NPT.
Both NPT and NPS have the same thread angle, shape, and pitch (threads per inch). However, NPT threads are tapered and NPS threads are straight (parallel). Both threads have a 60° included angle and have flat peaks and valleys (this is a Sellers thread form).
If you’ve worked with pipe much at all, you’ve probably noticed that the size of the pipe isn’t really what size the pipe is. Unlike tubing, which is generally specified by its OD, or hose, which is generally specified by its ID, pipe is specified by something else… its Trade Size. So when you say “3/4 pipe,” you’re actually saying “pipe whose OD is a little more than an inch, and whose ID is about 53/64.” -that is, if you are talking about schedule 40 pipe, which is generally what is used for most plumbing applications.
Pipe dimensions are specified by trade size and schedule, according to the following table. Note that while British Standard Pipe dimensions are similar, they are not equivalent to the American Standard Pipe Sizes. See NPT vs. BSP Pipe for thread comparisons.

Notes:
* Ream the hole before tapping with a reamer having a taper of 3/4 inch per foot. Pipe Size
is the accepted industry designation and does not refer to either the inside or the outside
diameter (ID or OD) of a pipe or a fitting. Dimensions in Inches except where statedE= Pitch diameter at hand-tight plane. This is also the pitch diameter at the gauge plane.
**’= Truncation from point of thread triangle to flat (not shown in diagram). Minimum = 0.033P for all pitches. See table for maximum.
Tolerances:
When using L1 gauges to check threads, the thread is within permissible tolerance if the ring gauge face, or plug gauge notch, is +/- 1 turn from being flush with the end of the thread.Example designation:
  • 3/8 – 18 NPT where
  • 3/8 = nominal pipe size
  • 18 = number of threads per inch
  • NPT = symbol for the thread series and
  • form (i.e., National (American)Standard Pipe, Taper)
Note- Basic dimensions are given to four or five decimal places to eliminate errors when
calculating gauge dimensions, they do not imply a greater degree of precision than is normally obtainable.
NPT draws
L1= Length of normal hand-tight engagement. This is also the L1 gauge length.
(Longer thread engagement may be used in special applications, such as flanges
for high pressure use. In such cases the pitch diameter, E, remains as specified
and the diameter at the end of the pipe is proportionally smaller.)
L2= Effective Length of thread
